FrontPage has gone through some significant changes since I began using it. FP 2002 is close to being the same as 2000. FP 2003 has some huge changes and it is not a smooth transition from earlier versions. This version needs a tutorial to "relearn" how FrontPage performs. Recent upgrades at the schools have me using all three at the current time. FrontPage has been discontinued as of 2006. It's replacement is Expression Web. I doubt if we will see much of it in schools. It is more for web developers than for the occasional user. I have yet to use it extensively. FrontPage 2003 Tutorial Straight from Microsoft. FrontPage 2000 Tutorials Starting a FrontPage Web FrontPage 2000-Instructions about beginning a FrontPage web. The proper steps are important in order to start your web properly. Create an Image Map Image maps add hyperlinks to graphics. Imagine a US map. Moving the cursor over the map and clicking on a state would bring you to a web page. Tables With Rollover Links Tables can be used to create "button-like" links try this tutorial. Banner Ad Manager Use a Banner Ad as a slide show on any page. Insert a Hit Counter Would you like to know how many "hits" your page has? Add a hit counter. Insert the time and date Let people know when you have last updated a page so they can look for something new. Create a Search Form or Search Page Add a search form or search page to your site.
